6a and 6i @ TUBES Jazz Club

Students in classes 6a and 6i went to hear the fabulous Fabian Supancic Organ Trio this past October 13th, in the lovely jazz club Tubes!

To prepare for the concert, the recently retired KUG jazz drum professor Howard Curtis (USA) came to give a lecture on the history of African American music and its importance on the development of American music.  Howard Curtis was the featured drummer at the concert, along with Christopher Pawluck on guitar, and Florian Supancic on tenor saxophone.

A handful of brave students stayed for both sets and had a chance to briefly meet Fabian!
