Fiddler on the Roof
On Friday, October 21st, 2022, the 5abc students met at the Graz Opera House to enjoy the touching, funny, honest, and beloved musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” Set in fictional Anatevka in 1905, the musical dips into controversial ideas of culture and tradition, showing a time in history marked by dramatic socio-political change.
We were enthralled by the world the cast had created. Tevye’s incredible voice, his humor, and his comedic timing made him the star of the night. The choreography especially pulled us into the musical. We will not forget the bottle dance at Tzeitel and Motel’s wedding, nor Tevye’s lusty shimmying throughout the song, “If I Were a Rich Man.”
