IB Success Story to be Continued

We are pleased to announce that GIBS has fulfilled all the requirements to continue being an IB World School and to offer the IB Diploma Programme.

Following the submission of all required preliminary documents, an elaborated self-study, and a detailed programme development plan, a three day remote evaluation visit was conducted from January 23-25, 2023, led by Dr. Martin Nutz, principal of Deutsche Botschaftsschule Addis Abeba, and Christian Bock, Academic Director of United World College Robert Bosch in Freiburg.

The evaluation team noted that our school is meeting or exceeding expectations in all areas, particularly in the engagement of our students in learning activities. They also commended the school for its commitment to developing strong relationships with parents and community members.

This successful visit is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. We are proud of the accomplishments we have made as a team in the past five years of developing and implementing the IBDP in Styria and we are looking forward to further strengthening the programme in the years to come.
