Why are girls still less encouraged in STEM fields and have limited choices for their education and career development?

What are the difficulties that women encounter in STEM research?

These were some of the questions that the 6i students shared with Dr. Raices and Dr. Laciny (ISTA) during the workshop Zoom a scientist. Both scientists talked about their personal path in science and the challenges they encountered to pursuit their scientific career.
