World Book Day 2023

This year, for the first time, GIBS decided to celebrate World Book Day (23 April) with events especially for Year 1 and Year 2.  The whole school took part in a photo challenge, coming up with the most creative and innovative reading photos. In addition, it was comfy clothes day all around to show how relaxing reading can be.

The students of Year 1 and 2 took part in a library treasure hunt, solved book riddles, created their own book-eaters and swapped books with their classmates which they then had time to immediately get stuck into.
