Landesjugendsingen 2023

This past April the GIBS Junior Choir travelled to Bruck and der Mur to perform at the Styrian ‘Landesjugendsingen’, which is a five-daylong state choir competition.  40 Junior Choir members, along with 3 upper school string players and professional violist Robert Szenykiv travelled by train to perform three songs in three different languages: Wenn Du Durchgehst Durchs Tal, Oy Khodyt Son Kolo Vikon (Ukranian), and Winter Lullaby.  Even though the choir did not qualify for the national festival, we nevertheless spent a lovely, musical day together in Bruck!
