1c – Pictures at an Exhibition
Class 1c attended an open orchestra rehearsal featuring the Graz Recreation Orchestra, on November 13th in the Stefaniensaal. Students were treated to three pieces: Reena Esmail’s Teen Murti, Ottorino Respighi’s Tritto Botticelliano, and Modest Mussorgski’s Pictures at an Exhibition (Ravel orchestration).
Professional cellist and orchestra member Judith Pap visited the class and talked about the life of a professional cellist, and performed a special ‘in house’ concert right in our music room!
