World Book Day – Read My Way!

The theme this year is, “READ MY WAY”, encouraging students to read books anywhere as long as they have fun reading. Students could dress up as their favourite book character or just wear comfortable clothes to show how relaxing reading can be. The stations included reading and writing a book review, taking part in a library scavenger hunt, creating their own book-eaters, writing a class story and solving riddles. Our Year 1 students showed great interest and produced amazing book reviews and stories.

Year 2 students are taking part in a comic challenge project where they are creating their own comics in small groups and the best comic will be printed and available to read in our school library.

The active participation and the support from teachers and language assistants made the World Book Day 2025 a successful one!
