Christmas Volleyball Tournament
This year we (Christopf Vosen and Kalkidan Wube, 7i) had the privilege to organize the Volleyball tournament for the upper grade students. After anticipation and preparation, the matches took place on December 21stin our school gym. Six teams signed up, including the phenomenal former GIBS students’ alumni team, which we were very happy to host. Blood, sweat and tears were shed, and we were able to observe some very breathtaking and impressive matches. Everyone gave their best and they fought until the very last point. The grand finale took place between the team “Hoe-hoe-Hoes” from year 8 and “Red Sum Team” from year 5. The youngsters were a powerful duo and returned every point ball with great resistance but with much effort the seniors were able to triumph after a very close battle.
We hope that the Christmas Volleyball tournament will continue to exist for many years to come and become an annual tradition in our school.
