European Day of Languages
GIBS students will be performing at the European Day of Languages festival once again this year! The event will take place on Thursday, September 22nd beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the GrazMuseum downtown. Three songs will be performed by our students at the opening ceremony, featuring music from Bosnia, Hungary and Ukraine. GIBS students will also perform a ‘Kultur’ program for 30 minutes following the opening ceremony (10:30-11:00) which will feature last year’s junior choir and GIBS students singing songs in their mother tongue – over 10 different languages will be represented! Robert Senkiv, first violist from the Oberton String Octet will be joining our upper school string players and Ha An Nguyen 7b on piano to back it all up! The event is free and open to the public.
