Future Swimming Stars
Despite difficult conditions due to the corona pandemic, the Styrian Indoor Swimming Championships took place from February 11th to 13th, 2022 in the Auster in Graz.
During the event, five Gibs students – Emily Meixner (7i), Johanna Janser (3c), Felix Reissner (5b), Armin Janser (5b) and Simon Janser (6i) – won a total of 5 gold, 8 silver and 15 bronze medals as members of the „Leistungsgruppe A“ of ATUS Graz coached by Ana Vasari.
With their great individual performances, the students also managed to qualify for the Austrian short course junior championships and some of them even for the Austrian state championships in the general class.
