Gibs girls win Uniqua Handball School Cup 2019

(Bezirke Graz / Graz Umgebung / Süd- und Südost Steiermark)

Girls of 3B and 4ABC celebrated a remarkable debut at the Handball School Cup 2019. In the group stage our team had to face up to the experienced team of HIB Liebenau in their very first match. In the heart-stopping finish our girls won 9:8 – hard-fought, but well-deserved! After another resounding victory over BG Leibnitz we reached the final in which we faced BG/BRG Klusemann. But, again, no one could stop our offense and there was (almost) no way past our amazing defense. In the end GIBS won the final 13:2!

Congratulations to our successful “power girls” and all the best for the Styrian Finals in Köflach-Bärnbach on March 27! Go GIBS girls, you rock!
