Orchestra Hautnah

Students in 2b had the exciting opportunity to sit in on a rehearsal with the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra in April!  To prepare for this event, two musicians from the orchestra came to school to present a workshop.  The students then travelled to the opera house and sat in the rehearsal room behind the musicians as they rehearsed for the upcoming opening of Britten’s Midsummer Nights Dream.  After the rehearsal, conductor Johannes Braun answered the students many questions about the music and the role of a conductor.
