Silver and Gold

This year’s Eurolingua Competition organized by the Landesjugendreferat Steiermark marked the 50^th anniversary of the event. The competition was again conducted directly at all participating schools at the beginning of March with a record-breaking number of almost 1,000 students taking part. A big thank you goes to Karin Kindermann and her team who again prepared and administered the big event perfectly.

Four Latin students from 8ab – Benjamin Ebersbach, Lorenz Gröbacher, Ludovica Riegler, and Jade Hubmann – entered the Latin “Kurzsprache” competition. All submitted entries were reviewed by an independent jury, who then determined the winners.

Ludovica Riegler (8b) was awarded the silver medal for her linguistically excellent translation of a medieval legend about St. Francis. With a flawless and translation of the hagiographic text, Jade Hubmann (8a) won the gold medal and is also this year’s Styrian champion.

1 ambassadrice et un ambassadeur de la langue française en 8ab et 2 Médailles d’OR pour GIBS

Notre lycée GIBS est très fier de féliciter dans la catégorie AHS Langsprache

Hannah MOSER, 8a pour sa Médaille d’OR et

Alen SARACEVIC, 8b aussi Médaille d’OR.

Ils ont su persuader dans le concours « EUROLINGUA 2022» qui était maintenu cette année uniquement à l’ écrit dans des lycées styriens, malgré la situation provocante.

SCHÜSSLER Clara, (8a), ERJAUTZ Célina(8b), PILICH Karoline (8a),WASSILIKOS Florentin (8b), STUHLBACHER Lätizia (8a) und SARIC Una (6i) ont aussi participé avec beaucoup d’engagement à ce concours pour faire briller le français. 

Félicitations aux candidat.e.s qui font preuve d’un excellent niveau et de beaucoup d’engagement et de courage pour consacrer leur temps libre à la préparation de ce concours.
