Women’s Day @ GIBS

On March 8th our school made sure to bring awareness of the International holiday to all students. A bake sale with a variety of sweet treats welcomed the students and teachers in the entrance of our school, luring many with a heavenly scent of freshly baked goods. To conclude the day, students from years 4 to 8 were invited to a speech by a guest of honour, Dr Senka Holzer. (Read more about the speaker on our instagram).

The finalising event was organised by our former school representative, Una Šarić, and ended this special day beautifully with the distribution of Dr Senka Holzer’s books to interested students – copies available in the school library.
